AUDIT MANAGER- MODEL RISK

LONDON/ MILTON KEYNES - HYBRID

UP TO £80,000

As an Audit Manager - Risk Models, you will play a crucial role in providing independent assurance over the bank's risk models, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to assess model risk governance, validation processes, and control effectiveness across key areas such as credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and execute audits of risk models, focusing on model development, validation, and governance.
  • Assess the effectiveness of model risk management frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations (e.g., Basel, IFRS 9, IRB, and stress testing models).
  • Identify and communicate key risks, control weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert insights on model methodology, assumptions, and limitations.
  • Collaborate with senior risk and audit professionals to drive best practices in model risk management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong experience in audit, risk management, or model validation within a banking or financial services environment.
  • Excel experience
  • Deep knowledge of credit risk, market risk, and operational risk models.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Basel, IFRS 9, and stress testing.
