Our client is recruiting for an Asset Finance Business Development Manager to join a high-performing Business Banking team, that plays a key part of the cashflow solution for many trading businesses and is a growth product within the UK.

This is a new business development role for a sales professional who can develop leads and drive business performance to successfully contend in the Asset Finance market.

This is a hybrid role, to cover London and the South East.

What you'll be doing?

  • Establishing new relationships for the Asset Finance business team.
  • Identifying, targeting and prioritising new prospects using business research and prospecting tools.
  • Making first contact with new clients to arrange meetings and explaining the value-add to clients.
  • Building relationships with the clients to generate trust and develop clients' interest.
  • Work with the client and existing relationship teams to agree credit lines with the new clients.
  • Provide full and comprehensive handover to your relationship colleagues remaining available for ongoing support if required.

What they need from you?

  • Validated experience in business development working with mid or large sized corporate clients.
  • Proven ability to establish and nurture strong client relationships with senior executives, supported by a vast network within the asset finance community.
  • Established success in originating and growing new business within a financial institution.
  • A proficiency in the credit and underwriting process and a fluency in all manner of financial documents- able to analyse, draw insights and make financial services recommendations.
