A London-based AdTech company is currently looking for a CFO to shape the financial strategy and drive the business performance. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Board of Directors, this high-impact opportunity is best suited to a strategic and commercially-minded finance leader to contribute significantly to the company's continued growth and success.
Your New Role
- Partner with the CEO and Board to execute the business strategy, providing insightful financial and commercial guidance on key strategic developments and decisions.
- Drive financial performance by proactively identifying risks and opportunities, developing key performance indicators, and challenging business plans. Oversee the budget process and provide timely, accurate, and high-quality management information.
- Lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, control, financial analysis and planning, budgeting, forecasting, tax, and treasury. Ensure compliance with all relevant reporting standards.
- Collaborate with business leaders to drive financial performance, identify cost savings opportunities, and maximise revenue streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, auditors, corporate finance advisors, lending banks, and other key stakeholders.
- Work with the CEO on M&A activities, including due diligence and integration. Lead the financial aspects of any future exit processes.
- Lead and develop a finance team of 23 employees across the UK and US, ensuring the company is well-placed to support the company's needs. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, leveraging automation where possible.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within AdTech or Creative Industries. Demonstrable success in driving financial performance and contributing to strategic growth.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience with M&A transactions and exit strategies.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
