Chief of Staff - Investments Family Office (Remote and visiting on site when required London & Surrey ) £130 - 175k DOE depending on content and level of experience. ACCA or similar qualification is essential. The Principal is a highly respected and a very likeable head of a very successful international tech firm. This is a first time hire and will grow over time

Degree standard with a Family Office background (Essential) or supporting an UHNW individual with a high level of administrative support and planning with regard to personal investments & assets.

An excellent communicator with a top eye for detail and accustomed to dealing with a large amount of paperwork/administration regarding multiple personal investments. Financially astute, loyal and discreet. Happy to roll up the sleeves when required. Flexible and hands on. Happy to work remotely and visit the Principal when required (Surrey or City) Able to monitor varied investment for the Principal and make informed recommendations when needed.

A self-starter who can put in new systems and keep track of the private investments of the Principal and keep the paperwork and legal requirements up to date in every respect

Reporting directly to the Principal overseeing the private investments & personal assets UK & worldwide. Review and conduct due diligence on all new and potential investment opportunities and manage the investment process and reporting. Key-point of contact with lawyers/banks/accountants and other third parties. Liaise with Accountant on tax matters regarding personal investments Conducting research on any planned investments

Read and review all pertinent information/documents regarding personal investments and assets and report into the Principal the distilled points for his consideration/decision. Ensuring all matters are dealt with in a timely manner, prioritizing time sensitive matters. Keep an up-to-date electronic filing system of all private investments & legal matters Analyse content and provide a commercial view on private investment matters and next steps.

Consulting with an accountant or lawyer when required. Monitor investment performance on all investments & give regular updates Proof-read, distil and summarise investment, banking and legal documents into succinct information for the Principal. Complete necessary regulatory requirements for donations, trusts, portfolios and new investments

Flag up any issues and give informed opinions when required Manage the principal’s personal finances & expenditure and provide a monthly report. Deal with all private insurances and obtain comparative quotes to include residences, cars & other assets Monitor renewal dates on all insurances and obtain comparative quotes. Assist with any budgets and management of refurbishment works to family residences or property investments in the UK or abroad. Manage any personal payroll requirements & create employment contracts for personal staff

Manage & purchase all family main purchases and manage all assets for the Family, including UK and international property. Support with various ad-hoc requests. Travel with the Principal on occasion when required. Attend external meetings on behalf of the Principal if necessary. Available out of hours on urgent matters. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is expected in this role and excellent references provided.

Able to build relationships quickly and liaise with external providers in a professional manner.
