TPF Recruitment is supporting a top 25 accountancy firm in London in their search for a Corporate International Tax Senior Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and developing the Corporate International Tax team, working closely with a diverse client base across multiple industries.
The RoleAs a Corporate International Tax Senior Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Corporate Tax, assisting in the successful running of the team. This is an office-based role with significant client interaction, requiring occasional travel between offices in London, Kent, and Sussex.
You will work with a broad client portfolio, including entrepreneurial growth companies, large corporates, multinational groups, FSA-regulated businesses, and AIM-listed PLCs. Your focus will be ensuring tax compliance while also identifying strategic tax planning opportunities.
Additionally, you will be involved in complex tax planning assignments, which in the last six months have included:
- Reorganisations and Demergers
- Loan Relationship Analyses
- EIS Scheme Reviews
- Due Diligence on Acquisitions
- Advising on Business Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise UK and international clients on tax-efficient structuring.
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted business advisor.
- Collaborate with global colleagues on international tax matters.
- Oversee corporation tax compliance for a diverse corporate client portfolio.
- Review complex corporation tax returns and computations.
- Manage and mentor a team of approximately five staff, including appraisals and workload allocation.
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- CTA qualified (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in corporate tax.
- Experience training and mentoring junior staff is advantageous.
- Exposure to international tax issues, including double taxation relief, transfer pricing, thin capitalisation, permanent establishments, withholding taxes, and controlled foreign companies (CFCs), is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel to client offices when required.
