Responsibilities and DutiesAs a Corporate International Tax Senior Manager, you will be responsible for taking the lead on international compliance work collaborating with the PartnersResponsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee preparation of impact assessment models and analyse gaps based on the client's ERP, tax accounting, and reporting systems.
  • Provide technical support for Pillar Two for the tax accounting reporting process and deliver compliance and reporting solutions.
  • Act as one of the first points of contact on the International Tax campaign.
  • Oversee work concerning cross-border business reorganizations, M&A transactions, international expansion, and changes to a business's operational model.
  • Handle cross-border loan financing and hedging, including the tax treatment of interest and foreign exchange.
  • Mentor the team on permanent establishments, withholding tax, double tax relief claims, profit repatriation strategies, CFCs, etc.
  • Help oversee general departmental matters to ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • Manage and develop more junior members of the team to deliver work and provide feedback.
  • Liaise effectively with specialists in other areas of taxation.
  • Engage in business development activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in Corporate Tax within practice
  • Solid and consistent experience at Manager/Senior Manager level and/or entry level director at a comparable firm
  • Experience in cross border transactions and corporate international matters from a UK centric starting point
