What you'll do:
As the Director - Credit Risk Manager in the Energy sector, you will be instrumental in shaping the credit strategy of our client's operations in the EMEA region. Your exceptional problem-solving skills will be vital in evaluating credit risks and managing problematic assets. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring, reporting, and taking early action on potential issues. Your ability to communicate clearly and concisely will enable you to effectively liaise with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Manage and evaluate credit risks and associated risks within the Energy sector
- Establish and maintain a robust portfolio within the credit appetite of the EMEA region
- Propose borrower ratings and transactions for decision-making by senior management
- Review credit applications received and ensure vigilant monitoring of the portfolio in accordance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
- Make balanced, timely and thoughtful credit decisions within the firm's risk appetite
- Engage proactively with front line on deal specific or strategic developments through guidance, direction, feedback and identification of red flags or breaches of internal guidelines
