In this Finance Business Partner role, you will:

  • Supported by Management Accountants, you will assist two key directorates of the organisation by discussing monthly reports and answering queries to ensure full financial comprehension
  • Collaborate with the leadership team, for each directorate, on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, costing investment decisions, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor financial performance across key areas, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic plan, and analyse trends to support structural and operational reviews.
  • Ensure financial implications for new and existing contracts are understood and adhered to, providing ad hoc analysis and developing business cases to communicate financial impacts.

Based in South-West London, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work from home two days a week. The successful candidate will benefit from a generous annual leave entitlement of 35 days and the opportunity to join the Local Government Pension Scheme.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be part-qualified and be actively studying towards their accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc.)
  • Have a commercial mindset and be eager to join the education sector.
  • Be an experienced Finance Business Partner with a thorough understanding and background producing management accounts.
  • Have excellent communication skills and an ability to explain complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Be a highly proficient Excel user, with the ability to manipulate large volumes of data, produce draft reports, apply formulas and if-statements.
