A leading global scientific research organisation with an excellent reputation is currently seeking an interim Finance Business Partner to join its Commercial Finance Team on a six-month contract paying a daily rate of circa £400. This exciting and highly varied role will be responsible for working closely with non-finance stakeholders and providing robust financial advice and support. The position should suit a technically strong individual who is comfortable working with ambiguity.It is a hybrid role, with two days per week expected in the impressive London offices.As the Finance Business Partner your role will involve:
- Working with other Business Partners to produce budgets and forecasts for different areas of the organisation
- Due diligence on grant funding applications from partner organisations
- Meeting with stakeholders to explain their numbers and influence the way they approach finance
- Month-end related finance duties
- Ad hoc financial modelling and analysis
The ideal Senior Finance Business Partner will:
- Be a qualified accountant, with significant post-qualification experience
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior non-finance stakeholders
- Be comfortable working with ambiguity and having to constantly prioritise
- Be a team player with an interest in scientific research
This contract will run for an initial six months, with the potential for extension.
