CMC Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding, industry-leading business looking for a commercially minded finance professional to join their team.Are you seeking a dynamic role where you can make a real impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment, providing key financial insights to drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly and monthly reporting and analysis of profitability by customer, income stream, and product, helping to optimise margins and identify growth opportunities.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts to support business planning and ensure strategic decision-making.
- Forecast production requirements based on sales trends, ensuring alignment between demand and supply across multiple production sites.
- Work closely with non-finance teams to forecast labour requirements, ensuring the right workforce is in place to meet production demands.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of cost of production and transport (e.g., cost per unit, per product, per customer), identifying efficiencies and areas for cost reduction.
- Support financial planning and reporting across multiple production sites, ensuring consistency and efficiency in operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong analysis and ability to liaise with non-finance
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
