On behalf of our client in London who are a top performing managing agent and syndicate operator, Oliver James are recruiting for a Finance Data Manager to join this client on a permanent basis. This role will provide support to the Syndicate finance team assisting with ledger preparation and data analysis.

The successful professional will have experience in data analysis and an FP&A background within the Lloyds insurance market. With the right experience and background will you manage the financial data systems close processes and ensure all manual adjustments are entered to populate the ledgers for UK GAAP, Solvency II and internal Board reporting. You will also manage internal forecasting model in Anaplan and assist in the production of the external planning process to Lloyd's and quarterly forecasting for regulatory reporting.

  • Knowledge of Lloyd's systems and reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of the types of business transacted by a syndicate.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Initiative and capable of working independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Numeracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • MS PowerQuery/MS Power BI.
  • Phinsys suite of products (desirable).

You must have full right to work in the UK , able to commit to a hybrid working policy and happy to discuss in detail your suitability for this role with an Oliver James Consultant.
