Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its growth objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the board and CEO based on financial analysis and projections.
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Analyze market trends and financial data to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
- Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and corporate governance.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
- Operational Oversight:
- Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and investment strategies to maximize returns.
- Mergers & Acquisitions:
- Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities and oversee due diligence processes.
- Manage post-acquisition integration to optimize financial outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Significant experience as a Finance Director, ideally within the financial services or planning sector.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting financial planning firms.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
