Finance Manager | Fast Growth B2B SaaS Scale-Up | Fully Remote (UK)

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a fast-growing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) businesses in their search for a Finance Manager.

Operating in the B2B SaaS space, their cutting-edge platform transforms vast data sets into clear, actionable insights, empowering businesses to make smarter, more strategic decisions with confidence. As the 'first movers' in the space, they have attracted major Venture Capital investors with a track record of backing some of the most disruptive and successful tech success stories of the last decade.

The business is led by a highly ambitious and bright senior leadership team that promotes empowerment, ownership and accountability. Subsequently, you'll be trusted to work autonomously as a remote employee. They are building a team of smart, passionate, and ambitious people that are excited by the opportunity for growth both personally and professionally as they aim to build the next SaaS success story.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is an incredibly broad and hands-on role, owning the production of management accounts, month-end and financial reporting. The Finance Manager will also work closely with the FD on forward planning, budgeting and forecasting. As expected in a fast-moving scale-up environment, the Finance Manager will also be integral in the design and implementation of processes and ensuring robust financial controls to deliver growth.

Responsibilities:

* Maintenance of financial controls and processes to ensure 'best practice'

* Review month end and management accounting processes

* Support the FD with running an effective budgeting process and maintaining a rolling forecasting

* Support the FD with the maintenance and development of financial models

* Develop insightful SaaS KPI's and analysis to drive improved decision making

* Provide effective business partnering to non-finance teams and stakeholders

* Support the FD with the production of longer-term strategic planning

* Consistently look at new Software and systems to automate manual day-to-day accounting tasks

* Deliver the completion of statutory reporting

* Liaise with auditors and third-party advisors to deliver tax returns and global tax compliance

Requirements:

* Experience in a SaaS/recurring revenue business model

* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

* Exposure to both Financial Controls and FP&A

* Previous experience owning month-end and management accounting

* Clear communicator

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000
