Finance Manager | Fast Growth Music Tech Start Up | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with one of the UK music industries most exciting, tech adjacent, scale ups, as they search for a Finance Manager to join their ever-expanding team. This is a newly created role in line with the business growth, and will offer fantastic progression opportunities for the successful candidate.

The Business:

Led by a senior leadership team of fantastic, experienced music industry professionals, our client is backed by leading figures in the space. With a mission to revolutionise artists rights and royalties, the business was born out of a desire to empower artists and producers regardless of their status or seniority in the industry.

As they enter their third year of trading, this is a really exciting time to be involved in a fast growth start up, with revenue and headcount growth forecasted for the next 2/3 years. Based in a culture and values first office environment in central London, this role will suit driven candidates keen to progress with a scaling business.

The Role:

Reporting into an experienced fractional CFO who places a big emphasis on training and mentorship, there will be great support on offer. The role itself will be broad in nature, and will suit candidates that are adaptable, work well in fast paced environments, and that can turn their hand to different duties when needed.

As the business undergo further investment rounds, there will also be exciting exposure to this, working closely with the CFO in integrating funds appropriately into the business.

Duties:

  • Manage monthly reporting to investors
  • Handle the asset management reporting
  • Work with CFO and external accountants to produce timely monthly management accounts
  • Lead on system implementation projects, driving efficiency where necessary
  • Take responsibility for insourcing of transactional responsibilities
  • Ad hoc tasks to support wider finance function and business

What we need to see (essential):

  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA Qualified / Part Qualified / Finalist
  • Driven, growth mindset, keen to progress

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Creative background (Music / TV&Film / Publishing / Media)

Salary: £50k - £60k
