Finance Manager | 6 Month Contract

£70k - £75k

Central London

Halliday Marx have partnered with an excellent client in the property industry, seeking a finance manager on a 6 month basis.

Reporting into the FC and working closely alongside the CFO you will oversee the finance function including processes, controls and reporting. Key duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Corporate accounting, including monthly financial reporting including accurate variance analysis
  • Monitor and report on revenue
  • Responsible for compliance reporting and VAT submissions
  • Implement process improvements to streamline work
  • Prepare financial transactions and information in preparation for entry into various financial statements and accounting reports
  • Review of financial statements for both audited and non-audited entities
  • Assisting with development and implementation of accounting control procedures
  • Maintain close working relationship with external auditors and manage the audit deadlines
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation packs

The Successful Candidate;

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Ideal candidate will be from an audit background
  • Previous experience managing a small team would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and must be able to deal with senior stakeholders across the business
  • Deadline driven, must be able to manage a tight workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent excel skillset
