- Manage finance assistant to ensure processes are completed in a timely manner
- Oversee all aspects of financial and management accounting for the group
- Liaise closely with Talent Managers to ensure timely invoicing of sales
- Prepare monthly management accounts for talent agency and present to director
- Monthly preparation and review of P&L and Balance Sheet with Head of Finance
- Issue sales invoices and client statements. Post cashbook for Talent Agency
- Prepare accrual, deferred income, prepayments and other balance sheet postings
- Prepare intercompany transactions for posting with Finance Assistant
- Analyse and review financial reports and post adjustments where necessary
- Monthly production cost monitor reconciliation and review
- Investigate any resulting discrepancies including accrued/deferred revenue and costs
- Analyse and prepare royalty statements from distribution partners
- Responsibility for managing relevant financial/accounting software
- Prepare new cost monitor templates from budgets
- Prepare and gather data for tax computations
- Quarterly business review with senior management team
- Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA Accountant
- Qualified by experience
- Prior experience working within the TV industry is desirable
- The ability to delegate and manage the work of others
- An analytical approach to work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Advanced Excel skills
- Full study support towards a ACCA or CIMA qualification
