As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Manager to join the Finance team. This critical role offers the opportunity to drive accuracy and control across our balance sheet while collaborating with various internal teams, such as Financial Operations, Treasury, and FP&A.

Role Overview:As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring robust control over the balance sheet, identifying and reporting on potential risks and opportunities. This position requires an individual with a strong eye for detail and a deep understanding of financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation. You'll be working closely with key stakeholders across the business to provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Balance Sheet Reviews: Manage monthly balance sheet reviews, delivering an accurate financial position with high-quality reconciliations, ensuring all tasks are completed promptly.
  • Monthly Reporting: Produce high-quality, insightful monthly balance sheet reports, providing variance analysis that identifies key drivers and highlights potential risks and opportunities.
  • Risk Analysis: Lead the analysis of larger risk areas within the balance sheet, such as trade creditors, debtors, and provisioning, ensuring accurate insights are provided.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, helping them become subject matter experts in balance sheet reporting, offering guidance and support to the wider finance team and business stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in the team's processes and control environment, seeking efficiencies and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Compliance: Ensure all reporting is fully compliant with IFRS and local reporting requirements.

Your Skillset:

  • Qualified Accountant with 4+ years post-qualification experience (ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA).
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong track record of delivering on time and to a high standard.
  • Highly organized and task-focused, with the ability to prioritize and complete work efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience managing, leading, and developing a team of finance professionals.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in the tech or travel sector.
  • Familiarity with G Suite applications.
  • Prior experience in practice or external auditing.
