We are working with an exceptional academy in London and looking for a motivated and exceptional individual to join their Finance and Resources team as a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for the operation of the finance function, working under the direction of an experienced Director of Finance and Resources. This role offers a competitive salary scale dependent on experience and qualifications, with a start date as soon as possible.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Oversee the finance function, ensuring efficient financial operations within the Academy.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance and Resources to implement financial strategies.
  • Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Provide top-quality financial services to students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Support the Academy’s culture of aspiration and commitment to student success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in an academy or school
  • Fully Qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, ideally with PSF experience. 
  • Track record of delivering high-quality financial services.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
