Financial Planning & Analysis Manager | £55-60k | 1 day in Central London | 15 month contract

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing membership body on a 15 month contract to cover a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a mark on the existing finance function to lead a team across the financial planning & analysis department, delivering strategic oversight and planning across both short and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embed a long-term strategy during a time of significant change
  • Deliver the financial budget setting, internal reporting and forecasting
  • Work as part of the SMT in providing key information to support decision-making
  • Deliver key business partnering across the organisation
  • Manage and develop the FP&A team to ensure a strong service is provided by the team
  • Provide accurate and insightful proposals to the wider senior management team
  • Work closely with senior management to develop financial capability across the organisation
  • Develop, design and implement strong processes and controls across the FP&A function to ensure efficient and 'fit for purpose' reporting.

Person Specification

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
  • Ideally a background working within a charitable organisation but ideally membership or trade union
  • Experience of delivering modelling and scenario planning
  • Strong experience across FP&A including budgeting, financial management and reporting
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to adapt approach to work with a range of senior stakeholders
