Based near the iconic O2 in London, their growing company is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their dynamic team. They offer an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving financial performance in an innovative and client-focused business.

The hybrid model on offer is 4 days in the office, 1 day at home, and there is free parking on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the financial management and planning for the business, ensuring effective financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Directly manage and guide the finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Provide strategic insights to the Managing Director and senior management team to support business growth and operational decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks, with a focus on maintaining a strong financial position.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
  • Oversee payroll, procurement, and other financial operations.
  • Oversee and manage AP and AR functions, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
  • Monitor working capital, debtor/creditor management, and implement credit control measures to reduce outstanding debts
  • Implement credit control measures to reduce outstanding debts.
  • Optimise supplier payment terms and negotiate contracts where necessary.
  • Monitor business performance, analysing financial data and implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to improve financial efficiency and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Relevant accountancy qualification.
  • Strong senior finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
  • Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
