This is a brilliant opportunity to join a boutique Fixed Income business and lead a small Operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Ops.

Successful placement will have;

- Management experience (and a proven success record)

- In-depth Fixed Income knowledge (Repos, Bonds, Gilts etc.)

- Full middle office experience (Trade matching, confirmation, settlements, affirmation)

- NAVs, Oversight, P&L, Reconciliations SME level knowledge.

What you'll do:

As an Operations Manager, you will play a central role within the firm, actively collaborating with all internal teams from Portfolio Management teams, Risk, Compliance and Finance to Sales & Marketing. You will facilitate all trading activity that the firm engages in, alongside downstream processes which stem from this. Your role will also involve providing oversight to outsourced middle-office providers as well as being the main contact point for multiple fund administrators and custodians across the funds managed by the firm.

* General oversight of the Operations team in collaboration with the Head of Operations* Oversight of daily responsibilities of Fund operations and Treasury operations, including long-term trend analysis of recurring issues and/or breaks* Development of training materials to ensure team members are well-versed in operational responsibilities, processes and systems* Full trade support from trade execution through to trade settlement* Cash management across all 3 fixed income trading desks* Portfolio pricing support* Position reconciliations* Regulatory reporting responsibilities

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Operations Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in management or supervision, coupled with a strong understanding of fixed income products and financial markets. Your strong numeracy skills and fluency with Microsoft Excel will be crucial in this role. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate across various functions within the firm. Your attention to detail, commitment, proactivity, and ability to work as part of a team will be key to your success in this role.
