Global Accounting Network is seeking an interim Finance Manager for a growing fashion retail client, with a contract lasting 6 months.
The role reports to the Finance Director and involves developing the finance function, including managing month-end close processes and inventory accounting.
Candidates must be fully qualified accountants with proven month-end and year-end experience, particularly in retail or stock environments.
The position requires prior experience in a smaller, growing business and involves preparing management and statutory accounts as well as financial reports for senior stakeholders.

Global Accounting Network are partnering with a growing fashion retail client looking for an interim Finance Manager for an initial period of 6 months.

As the Finance Manager, this role reports into the Finance Director and will play a key role in developing the finance function.

Main Responsibilities:

Own the month end close process including inventory accounting & all reconciliations
Preparation of management & statutory accounts
Prepare financial reports to present to senior stakeholders
Ensure all compliance and controls are in place
Assist with specific & ad hoc retail finance queries

Ideal Candidate:

Fully Qualified Accountant
Proven month end & year end experience
MUST have retail or stock background
Prior experience working within a smaller & growing business
