Description
Main responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Finance Director to simplify, standardise and improve financial reporting, controls analysis and management
- Leading the optimisation of the Business Central (MS Dynamics) Finance system, managing external suppliers and improving configuration (e.g., automating reports, consolidations, and project reporting).
- Supporting operational leaders with direct access to Business Central, providing training and guidance to maximize system usage for reporting and analysis.
- Identifying and resolve historical issues from the system transition, such as uploading asset registers, creating templates, and generating reports.
- Streamlining and automate finance processes, enhancing reporting efficiency and reducing manual interventions.
- Collaborating with finance and operational teams to simplify, standardize, and improve budgeting, controls, and business processes.
- Acting as a finance lead for strategic projects, including software rollouts, process audits, and system integration.
- Building confidence and capability across teams in the use of Business Central and associated finance processes.
Profile
A successful Interim Finance Systems Lead:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or qualified by experience)
- Have good knowledge of Business Central (MS Dynamics)
- Social care background is ideal
- Technically savvy
- Srong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading financial projects from initiation to completion
- Excellent interpersonal skills
