Interim Finance Systems lead (Business Central) - 12 month Fixed term contract - Hybrid working - Charity

Description

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Finance Director to simplify, standardise and improve financial reporting, controls analysis and management
  • Leading the optimisation of the Business Central (MS Dynamics) Finance system, managing external suppliers and improving configuration (e.g., automating reports, consolidations, and project reporting).
  • Supporting operational leaders with direct access to Business Central, providing training and guidance to maximize system usage for reporting and analysis.
  • Identifying and resolve historical issues from the system transition, such as uploading asset registers, creating templates, and generating reports.
  • Streamlining and automate finance processes, enhancing reporting efficiency and reducing manual interventions.
  • Collaborating with finance and operational teams to simplify, standardize, and improve budgeting, controls, and business processes.
  • Acting as a finance lead for strategic projects, including software rollouts, process audits, and system integration.
  • Building confidence and capability across teams in the use of Business Central and associated finance processes.

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Systems Lead:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Have good knowledge of Business Central (MS Dynamics)
  • Social care background is ideal
  • Technically savvy
  • Srong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading financial projects from initiation to completion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
