This autonomous role has arisen to cover for maternity leave in this market leading business based in Central London. Reporting to the CFO you will have responsibility of making sure the Group is fully compliant across all taxes and the point of contact for all tax issues for the business. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting corporation tax returns for UK companies
  • Preparing company and group consolidated tax disclosures for UK statutory accounts
  • Leading the preparation of quarterly Group VAT returns including process improvement to ensure integrity and efficiency
  • Primary contact for HMRC and the business for any queries
  • Supporting the M&A and Finance teams with any projects that require tax input

This is a broad and varied role that would suit someone with experience of hands-on compliance experience, ideally in an in-house environment. The role will run for at least 12 months, ideally starting from March or April. Please get in touch for more information.
