Seeking an Interim Service Charge Lead for a temporary position in a not-for-profit organisation located in London. The successful candidate will be a key player in our Accounting & Finance department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.

Description

  • Accurately calculate and implement service charges for all tenants.
  • Ensure timely collection of service charge payments.
  • Prepare annual service charge budgets and statements.
  • Work closely with the finance team to reconcile service charge accounts.
  • Resolve any service charge disputes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service charge processes and systems.

Profile

A successful Interim Service Charge Officer should have:

  • A sound understanding of service charge legislation and best practices within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
