Our ClientA prestigious university based in Central London.The Role As Junior Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role within the university's Central Finance Business Partnering Team. This is a pivotal role where you’ll deliver crucial financial and management insights alongside customer focussed support to budget holders and other stakeholders across the organisation. You will need to be excellent at building working relationships, an excellent communicator, and great at using your initiative and creativity to resolve problems.
  • You will work proactively with budget holders to support them in preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • You will manage the development of monthly management accounts.
  • You will also support in the preparation of the organisation's statutory accounts. 
The Successful Candidate 
  • Strong communication style, comfortable with face-to-face stakeholder interaction
  • A proactive attitute with an ability to be adaptable and work dynamically
  • Some level of accounting qualification or studying towards
  • Good excel skills and systems knowledge
  • Experience supporting with financial planning, budget setting, forecasting, management accounts and variance analysis
  • Higher education experience/NFP experience/public sector
