Your role as a Tax Dispute Resolution Manager:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as their main point of contact for tax dispute resolution matters.
  • Deliver high-quality tax dispute resolution services, working closely with both clients and HMRC to achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on business development activities and contribute to the growth of the tax team.
  • Provide clear, concise solutions to administrative and analytical issues related to HMRC enquiries and interventions.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

What you need to succeed as a Tax Dispute Resolution Manager:

  • CTA or ATII qualified (or equivalent), ideally with an accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
  • Experience communicating with HMRC is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience managing a busy client portfolio and handling multiple deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, computational, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
