NEW Partnership Tax Manager position available at leading international law firm.

As the Partnershup Tax Manager, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring the firm remains fully tax compliant and our partners continue to receive an outstanding service in respect of their tax affairs.

Whilst your main focus will be on UK income tax and filings for UK partnerships and corporations, you will also get some good exposure to international tax in an advisory capacity, liaising with local advisors. You will also work with the Head of Tax on any growth projects through acquisitions/ exploring new territories. International Tax experience is not needed for this role however as the focus is UK team.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare UK partnership computations for several group entities.
  • Facilitate non-UK entity and partner tax filings by providing relevant information and analysis to external tax advisers.
  • Assist with UK partners' tax compliance, including preparation and review of personal tax returns.
  • Prepare the annual Management Charge allocation between global offices.
  • Prepare the annual partner Profit Share Allocation schedule.
  • Support the business in managing withholding tax issues.
  • Respond to ad hoc queries across various taxes.

The firm are happy to consider any of the below profiles:

  • Currently working in practice who are keen to move to an in-house role
  • Currently working in-house in a law firm or partnership environment is ideal
  • Candidates without partnership tax experience will be considered if they have strong general tax knowledge and have been in a dedicated Tax role for a number of years.

Additionally - applicants will ideally have:

  • Sound understanding of partnership and personal tax issues.
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Proficient in Excel.

The firm are open to considering various level of applicants within their salary range - £75,000 - £100,000 and could therefore consider someone stepping up to manager level as long as they can demonstrate strong knowledge learnt so far in the tax space who are keen to grow.

The firm offer hybrid working - 3 days a week in the London office.
