Are you a Practice Manager or Office Manager, with at least 5 years experience in a Practice Manager position, looking to work for a good quality Accountancy firm? Are you looking to add value in a new role (February 2025) where you can make your mark on a rapidly growing boutique firm? Are you keen to work for a Central London (West End) accountancy practice firm which has a very laid back and easy going culture, and specialises in working with high profile London based Media, Entertainment, Art, Museum, Theatre and Film & TV clients? The firm has around 20 staff and has enjoyed massive growth over the last few years. They need to hire a new Practice Manager / Office Manager to assist and manage the firms growth and be a people Manager. Working directly with the owner of the business, specific duties will include: ensuring staff efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction, updating client terms, seting firm budgets, assess and recommend improvements to the firms systems, controls and procedures, identifying staff training needs, staff appraisals, booking staff onto relevant training courses, marketing, advertising, staff recruitment, health and safety, management of staff timesheets, ensuring compliance with various policies and regulations, insurance renewals, and other ad hoc duties as required by the practice. Overall your duty will be to ensure the practice is being well run and managed to a high standard, and to offer advice and improvement so the firm can continue to operate as a successful, reputable and profitable accountancy firm.

To be considered for this new role (February 2025) you must be an experienced Practice Manager or Office Manager, with at least 5 years experience (or more) in a similar role, ideally in an accountancy practice firm but candidates from other industries will still be considered. You must be experienced in the above duties and be a team player with strong communication skills. You must have an eye for detail and be able to offer advice and improvements to a growing business. The role is office based and full time (37 hours a week), so you must be willing to commute to Zone 1, London (West End).
