Revenue & Commissions ManagerI am looking for a Revenue Accountant to join one of my Visual Effects clients on an interim basis, this role will be an integral part of the team and you will be joining at a very exciting time!
Revenue, Margins and Commissions ManagerReports to: Group Financial ControllerKey responsibilities- Collaborate with key operational and sales teams to conduct margin analysis.
- Analyse trends in monthly revenue, and ensure precise revenue recognition within financial statements.
- Gross margin analysis; ensuring that invoices have the correct COGS
- Oversee the collection of monies and escalate to key sales people when necessary
- Reconciling between different revenue/billing metrics across the business (e.g. closed-won sales, billed revenue, recognised revenue)
- Management of commission process - calculations and monthly review of commissions tool (Palette) and reconciling back to monthly revenue
- Support the bi-annual commissions planning process
- Deliver regular financial reports to various stakeholders on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Perform meticulous monthly balance sheet reconciliations and implement robust controls to ensure precision and compliance.
- Support other members of Finance team to grow, be inquisitive and challenge where necessary
- Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant with a proven track record in management accounting.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and understand variances and underlying reasons.
- Meticulous attention to detail and an inquiring mind for accurate financial reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with various departments and stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to internal and external customers.
