I am partnered with an exceptional global law firm in their search for a revenue manager to join their London office. The role reports an experienced Head of Revenue and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced revenue manager looking for a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client billing, WIP, and debt.
  • Support pricing decisions and rate negotiations.
  • Provide responsive financial services to partners.
  • Train and develop a team of working capital controllers.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • WIP and Credit Control:
    • Act as Working Capital Controller for 6-8 partners.
    • Deliver high-quality billing and collections.
    • Ensure compliance with billing rules.
    • Manage billing write-offs and unbilled disbursements.
    • Collaborate with the Belfast team for efficient management.
  • Management and Development:
    • Supervise and develop a team.
    • Set objectives and conduct performance reviews.
    • Balance workload and lead team meetings.
    • Resolve issues and encourage initiatives.
    • Prepare communications and presentations.
    • Manage team absences.
  • Pricing and Business Partnering:
    • Support rate negotiations and provide financial information.
    • Promote the firm's Pricing Model.
    • Ensure IT systems reflect engagement terms.
  • Matter Profitability and Project Management:
    • Manage billing forecasts.
    • Ensure accurate fee earner status.
    • Prepare financial presentations and client reviews.
    • Schedule meetings to review performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in management or operational roles.
  • Strong understanding of global finance markets.
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage high workloads under pressure.
