- Business partnering with senior leaders to understand priorities, manage financial risks, and identify solutions while establishing influential relationships
- Support the annual budget setting cycle and manage processes to ensure that all budget reviews and costings are prepared timely and accurately
- Actively contribute to the strategic direction of the university’s approach to budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Manage, motivate, coach and supervise staff
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
- Proven experience relationship building with senior stakeholders across an organisation
- Experience of working with large data sets with an ability to write and develop financial reports using excel at an advanced level
- Experience of working in a fast moving financial environment
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectivelyÂ
- Part-time opportunity - 28 hours per week
- Salary: c. £51k - £62k (per annum pro rata)
