We're supporting a leading welfare charity dedicated to improving lives, in the search for a Senior Finance Business Partner on a 12 month fixed-term basis, to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a strategic level, providing insight and guidance that ensures resources are used to deliver maximum impact.
About the RoleAs Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with senior leaders to align budgets and forecasts with our strategic goals, provide financial analysis, and support key decision-making. You'll identify risks and opportunities, lead planning processes, and deliver financial insight that helps directorates achieve their objectives.
You'll manage a Finance Business Partner and collaborate with colleagues across finance, HR, and project governance, ensuring a joined-up approach to planning and business cases.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with senior leaders to ensure budgets and forecasts support strategic priorities.
- Provide insightful analysis, challenge assumptions, and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Build financial capability across teams, empowering stakeholders to manage their finances confidently.
- Lead financial education initiatives and ensure effective two-way communication with Finance.
- Manage and develop a Finance Business Partner, fostering engagement and growth.
You're a qualified accountant (CCAB, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience working with non-finance stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insight. You'll have a strong eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
