Senior Group Reporting Manager | 12 month FTC (with opportunity to go permanent) | FTSE listed consumer business | £80,000-£90,000 | London (3 days in the office)

A Senior Group Reporting Manager is required to work for a FTSE listed Consumer business based in Central London, on a 12-month fixed term contract, with the view the role can go permanent. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an iconic and forward-thinking brand with an internationally renowned presence.

Reporting to the Director of Group Reporting, you will be leading a team of 3 and working with various stakeholders across the business. The role will take ownership of the group consolidation for 25 entities under IFRS, as well overseeing consolidation of budgeting and forecasting, and implementing new group-wide policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for the interim and annual consolidated statutory group financial statements under IFRS
  • Project-related work including continuous improvement and enhancement of group-wide policies
  • Management and development of 2 direct reports
  • Working closely with the FP&A team, managing the forecasting and budgeting timetable
  • Managing impairment accounting including impairment models and assumptions
  • Owning the consolidation of the group monthly management reporting

Skill set required:

  • ACA / CA from a Top 10 firm
  • Experience operating at Manager/ Senior Manager level in practice or industry
  • Experience working in a group reporting role in industry is preferred but not essential
  • Experience auditing listed group companies is essential
  • Experience managing / auditing group consolidation is essential
  • Knowledge of the consumer sector is preferred but not essential
  • Impairment accounting knowledge is preferred but not essential
  • A strong leader who can develop a small team and work with stakeholders across the group
