This is a cracking role. Halliday Marx have partnered with a Top 50 accounting practice to recruit a Senior Manager. This is a permanent role to work closely with the partner and the Investment team. This role is less Audit focused, but is more focused on Managing a portfolio of clients and managing a team of 5.

This role is 3 days a week in the office, 2 from home.

Responsibilities;

  • Leading on an allocated portfolio to ensure that all deliverables are met in a timely manner.
  • Working alongside Partner and helping them manage their European portfolio
  • Managing and training team of 4 people
  • Dealing with technical accounting/tax queries from clients.
  • Business structuring for new or current clients.
  • Liaising with European clients and being the main point of contact
  • Working with teams around the office on certain projects, troubleshooting or ad hoc basis.
  • Service and fee proposals for new clients.
  • Assisting with internal matters.
  • Accounts review/analysis

Non Negotiable Requirements;

  • UK Practice experience
  • Experience working in a European country
  • Payroll / P11D experience
  • Fluent in a European language
  • Understanding of Cross border VAT
