Role Overview:The Private Tax Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the Private Tax team, providing innovative tax solutions, ensuring compliance, and managing client relationships. This role is critical to the growth and development of private tax services while mentoring and guiding junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of high net-worth individuals, families, and trusts, serving as the key contact for all tax-related queries.

  • Tax Advisory: Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services tailored to individual client needs, focusing on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax.

  • Compliance Oversight: Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable UK tax laws and regulations through regular reviews for accuracy and timeliness.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of tax professionals, facilitating coaching and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance.

  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for new business, contribute to marketing initiatives, and play a vital role in expanding the Private Tax client base.

Requirements:

  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in private client tax advisory services within a reputable accountancy firm.
