They provide a full suite of accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate entities. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team and play a key role in managing and expanding the firm’s tax services.Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and overseeing the firm’s tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse client base.
  • Providing expert tax planning and advisory services to clients, including corporate and personal tax matters.
  • Reviewing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising clients accordingly.
  • Supporting clients with HMRC investigations and queries.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring the firm’s compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including accountants, auditors, and HMRC representatives.
Key Requirements
  • Qualifications: CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a tax-focused role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation, including corporate and personal tax.
  • Proven experience in tax advisory and planning.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
