Your new companyYour new Brokers are an Independent Lloyd's Broker providing specialist solutions to their clients who access a wide range of markets on their behalf. They are a boutique Lloyd's Broker, with a tradition of London market insurance broking stretching back many years. They are focused on all classes of business where the London Market provides significant global expertise and capacity. They consider themselves a fast-growing business, currently employing over 400 professionals, dedicated to providing their clients with the service they require. Due to expansion within the International Casualty team an opportunity for a Technical Account Manager/Technician has arisen.Your new roleYour new permanent job working as a Technical Account Manager (Technician) will be responsible for handling International Casualty risk within Delegated Authorities. The objective of this role is to oversee the delivery of an efficient and enhanced end to end operations service to both their Clients and Brokers/Account Executives. Duties will include MRC slip production, production of Binding Authorities, managing operational risk and overseeing day-to-day operations of all Binders, Schemes, and facilities within the business. Duties will also include serving as the primary point of referral for enquiries, assisting in the preparation of key placement documentation, initiate and oversee the processing function, supporting the processing technicians. Further duties include being responsible for policy wordings and all other technical documents, producing documentation such as DUA contract/subsequent Endorsements, liaising with Underwriters, Coverholders, Lloyd's and Managing Agent DUA teams and proficient use of Atlas and DCOM.

What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working as a Binder Technician or Account handler handling International Casualty or Canadian or North American Casualty as well as the production of MRC slips will contribute to your success. Experience of Binding Authorities would be beneficial. You will be technically astute, highly literate and numerate and preferably have started some professional qualifications. Your excellent planning, time management and organisation skills alongside your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing team
