Reed A&F have recently again partnered up with a business who are looking to add a Transactional Finance Manager to their Finance Teams. The right candidate will possess all of the below skills and attributes and be prepared to join a thriving business.
Job Summary
- Oversee and enhance the Global Accounts Payable (AP) service.
- Ensure AP processes are efficient, cost-effective, sustainable, and compliant with regulations and policies.
- Develop the Global Shared Services Centre (SSC) as part of the SSC Leadership Team.
- Align AP services with company policies and strategies in collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain teams.
Key Interfaces
- Report to the Head of Finance.
- Engage with key stakeholders including Finance Directors, VP Tax, and the wider SVP/VP population.
- Manage relationships with global suppliers, ISIT, HR, Treasury, and Tax teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver AP services to agreed standards and KPIs.
- Continuously improve AP processes and maintain control frameworks.
- Develop a high-performing AP team in Liverpool.
- Foster professional relationships with suppliers.
- Champion change and manage month-end closing processes.
- Ensure business continuity plans for AP are in place.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- Experience in global finance processes and AP leadership.
- Familiarity with a large, diverse supplier base.
- Ten years of industry or international experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and Oracle R12 & Oracle Fusion.
- Experience driving large-scale change in a multi-national business.
