As part of their rapid expansion and evolving financial requirements, they are seeking an experienced US GAAP Reporting Specialist to join their dynamic finance team. This is a critical role for ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting during an exciting phase of growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements in strict compliance with US GAAP standards.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to support audit requirements and deliverables.
  • Analyze and reconcile financial data, ensuring all reporting aligns with US GAAP requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance on US GAAP compliance to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor updates in US GAAP regulations and assess their impact on reporting processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes and improve accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience with US GAAP financial reporting, preferably in a publicly listed company or high-growth environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in US GAAP standards and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, Excel).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Requirements:
  • Immediate availability or ability to start on short notice.
  • Experience working in a high-growth technology environment is a plus.
  • Based in or able to work in London, with flexibility for hybrid or office-based working.
