Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of the Claims Management System and One Workflow programmes.
  • Align project governance with the Project Charter and PMO standards, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Prepare clear and concise programme/project status reports, ensuring RAG reporting is used effectively.
  • Maintain the Portfolio RAID Log, identifying trends and providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Proactively manage and maintain project dependencies, escalating any risks or issues where necessary.
  • Oversee the implementation of the change control process, ensuring it is followed effectively.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Strong people, organisational, communication, and financial management skills, combined with excellent project management capabilities to ensure integrity across the portfolio.
  • Proven experience in a PMO Analyst or similar role within Insurance.
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall project management methodologies, along with familiarity with various reporting and management tools.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Office, JIRA, Smartsheet, and other collaboration platforms.
  • PMP/PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a Portfolio Office and contributing to its development and maturity.
  • Awareness of insurance industry processes.
