We are looking for an entry level Accounts Administrator to a brilliantly successful Music company based in London A

The role is to predominantly assist the Finance Manager,and provide some admin assistance to the booking process and general office duties. The role chiefly involves transactional accounting, paying invoices and other office management tasks. ?The job requires very close attention to detail?and a good head for figures!

YOU MUST LOVE MUSIC and have had experience within an office based accounting role.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Data entry of contract information to all relevant spreadsheets/Booking system
  • Purchase Ledger duties - 40-50 invoices per week
  • Liaising with promoters - Deposits are due before the show and these should be chased regularly - alert agent / booker if you become aware deposits are late
  • Liaising with promoters re: show settlements
  • Collecting and uploading settlements into Overture and distributing them to relevant people in the team
  • Liaising with Assistants making sure we receive any missing information before contracts are issued.
  • Copy contract to Accounts department
  • Liaising between promoters, tour managers and artist accountants regarding the band's invoicing for their fees and advising on ways to reduce withholding taxes where applicable
  • Applying for UK Home Office work permits where applicable
  • Reconciling credit card statements/receipts
  • General office duties as and when required including but not limited to
  • Assisting with other ad-hoc duties

SKILLS:

  • Graduate in related degree or AAT qualification.
  • Excellent IT skills including Advanced Excel.
  • Impeccable organisation and time management skills
  • Interest in Music and entertainment industry
