Control-M Administrator - Remote - Competitive Day Rate (Outside IR35)

Chapman Tate Associates are working with a leading client on an exciting project and are looking to hire an experienced Control-M Administrator. This is a fully remote role within the UK, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact for Control-M, ensuring smooth operations and quick issue resolution.
  • Deploy BMC Control-M packages from scratch and manage upgrade activities.
  • Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of Control-M and related applications.
  • Perform L3 and L2 support for Control-M on Distributed and z/OS Systems.
  • Troubleshoot administrative issues and optimize Control-M environments.
  • Work with Control-M modules and plugins, including AFT, DB, Java, and SAP.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee onshore-offshore teams.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management and drive service improvement programs.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and security standards.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 5-8 years’ experience in Control-M System Administration (L3) and Scheduling on z/OS (L2).
  • Strong knowledge of Control-M architecture, including Versions 7, 8, and 9.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe.
  • Experience with TWS - OPC, ITIL V3/4, and Service Transition (desirable).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
