Oakleaf Partnerships are partnering with a prestigious global law firm who are hiring for a dedicated Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist to lead on engagement and planning of the ED&I function for a nine-month period.

A great opportunity to sit in a team of global specialists working to ensure the firms ED&I initiatives resonate cross a diverse geographical and cultural landscape.

What is the role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to scope the firms ED&I vision and strategy, managing the ED&I engagement plan and collaborating with key networks and communication and responsible business teams.

Responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the DE&I Engagement Plan, ensuring key dates, reporting deadlines, and events are marked internally and externally.
- Aligning people network communication plans with the DE&I engagement plan to maintain consistent engagement.
- Implementing and evaluating the success of DE&I plans.
- Managing the International DE&I intranet site and producing internal DE&I content, including news, videos, and presentations.
- Integrating DE&I initiatives with digital, social, and PR plans.
- Leading DE&I reporting and insights, including executive reports and external commitments.
- Supporting benchmarking communications activity and drafting DE&I awards submissions.

Candidate profile / experience

The successful candidate will have a track record in delivering communications and experience working on intranet and social channels. You will have supported and implemented firm wide projects and be comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will be expected to work with senior stakeholders, manage budgets and suppliers with a real passion for ED&I.
