This role requires a dynamic and hands on operator, someone who is happy to much in and get into the detail, leading with your sleeves rolled up. This is a pivotal hire in driving the online sales growth, enhancing the customer experience and integrating the omnichannel initiatives.

Key responsibilities in the position of E-commerce Director includes:

Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Lead the eCommerce team in optimizing online sales performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration with physical stores.
Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, IT, and customer service, to drive cohesive and effective eCommerce initiatives.
Manage budgets, set performance targets, and report on key eCommerce metrics and KPIs.
Ensure the eCommerce platform is fully optimised for mobile, SEO, and conversion rate improvements.
Lead the development and implementation of new digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer journey.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the eCommerce team.

To be considered for the position of E-commerce Director:

Minimum of 10 years in eCommerce management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the fashion retail industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing eCommerce strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and online merchandising.
Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and related technologies.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
