They have a highly successful and collaborative news operation and a legacy data service. They’re looking for an experienced data editor to revamp their offering. As Head of Data, you will be responsible for rebuilding the data platform, leading a team of data specialists, and developing a comprehensive data platform including dashboards and visualisations. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the sales and editorial teams and meeting with the market to understand the needs of your audience
  • Building relationships with industry partners to acquiring data assets
  • Using software to build insightful dashboards and visualisations

Key Requirements:

  • Significant experience in leading a data operation for a news or information service
  • Experience in building out a service from scratch would be advantageous
  • A good understanding of financial markets, in particular fixed income, would be advantageous
