KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Head of Employer Engagement (Tech / IT) Location: HybridSalary: £60,000 - £75,000Type: Full Time / PermanentThis is an exciting period of growth for our client, and as such requires the successful candidate to have proven experience of developing and managing strategic partnerships and business growth within the education sector (Apprenticeships / funded training).Key areas of responsibility include:
  • Lead on all new and existing client engagement activity, across a defined market sector, for our client’s strategic accounts. Developing existing relationships and identifying / winning new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of our client’s business and culture, nurturing relationships with key decision makers, to strengthen awareness of their business requirements and maximise all opportunities for growth.
  • Identify and engage with businesses through a variety of proactive approaches to include producing and delivering sales propositions / presentations, attending events, meetings and calls.
  • Drive commercial growth opportunities
  • Responsible for leading and managing a team – managing performance, activity and targets
  • Deliver against key business objectives and achieve targets. 
Essential Experience:
  • Proven experience of working within strategic Partnerships / Business Development within the Apprenticeship sector, aligned to Tech Media and Telecommunications.
  • Driven sales leader who has a strong understanding of Apprenticeship sales / funded training landscape.
  • Proven experience of developing strategic relationships, influencing and negotiating at a senior level to secure new business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, I.T, written and verbal skills.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
