Southwark Council is seeking a HR Assistant to join their HR Business Partnering Service. This role is perfect for someone with strong HR knowledge and administrative skills, looking to gain experience in a local government setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for ER casework, including investigations and panelsAssist with HRBP activities such as reorganisations and workforce planningDeliver high-quality customer service across HR&OD and the wider councilMaintain confidentiality when handling sensitive data and HR queriesUse IT systems including Word, Excel, and HRMI software

Requirements:

Knowledge of HR practices and employment lawExperience working in an HR or administrative roleAbility to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organisationConfident using digital tools and HR systems
