HUB MANAGER (PAYE CONTRACT ROLE INITIALLY UNTIL MARCH 2025 WITH THE VIEW TO MOVING STAFF)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will sit within the Electric Vehicle Asset Management function of our EV charging hubs business units, providing day to day operational support for live hubs as well as managing the adoption/handover process from the construction teams to enable sites to open to the public.

Each EV Hub Manager has responsibility for a portfolio of operational EV sites including the planned and reactive maintenance strategy, engagement with third-party suppliers/partners and liaison with our Customer Service teams to support the uptime of the chargers and safe operation on the hubs.

You will be providing technical input/support for live hubs, new sites and future technology options working with the team to maintain compliance requirements (under the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023), optimise performance and reduce overall lifecycle costs to the business.

You will need to develop strong relationships with key internal and external partners, including the back-office CPO team, technology and professional services suppliers to ensure a forward-looking approach and optimal commercial performance.

The building of relationships with site landlords will also be key, through proactive and positive communication to ensure all parties deliver on their contractual and commercial commitments, ultimately ensuring that our hubs are high performing and safe for all to use.

FOR THE ROLE, THE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Demonstrable expert knowledge of asset and/or facilities management principles and methods; including but not limited to maintenance planning/scheduling, cost control, remote monitoring, landscape management, condition reporting and risk assessments.

Knowledge of overall EV charging market development, specifically ultra-rapid hub business processes and principles; ideally with some previous experience in EV charging and ultra-rapid networks (although not a requirement; similar experience will be accepted).

Proven experience in either electrical systems/asset management or facilities management, you will be computer literate with prior use of asset management/facilities management systems and databases as well as standard MS/O365 software platforms.

Due to the nature of this role, with regular site visits and remote operational responsibilities, it’s essential you hold a full/clean driving license.
