IMPAIRMENT ANALYTICS LEAD - FTC

£80,000 + 15-25% BONUS

LONDON

An established tech company is currently hiring for a lead in the Impairment team on a 12 month FTC. This role will have great seniority with senior stakeholders and will also have a lot of ownership over P&L analytics and strategy for the specific portfolio worked on.

THE COMPANY

This FinTech company is based in London. They are a responsible lender with their focus being on customer well-being which has allowed them to grow and become very successful. They have a few offices in the UK and have a hybrid working from home and office system providing great flexibility for its workers.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

  • Integrating a new portfolio for the business
  • Track IFRS9 model performance, identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Prepare and present IFRS9 reporting to stakeholders, auditors and regulators
  • Take ownership for P&L impact of impairment, identifying drivers and proposing new strategies to reduce risk of lending
  • Stakeholder management

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong impairment/IFRS9 knowledge
  • Understand different IFRS9 model components and drivers
  • Strong SAS, SQL or Python skills
